Jean - Gaborit. Whilst I don't own a pair of his boots I have had a look at his web site and find his styles a bit clumpy for me. Anyhow this is only my opinion.

I can't say that I have seen thigh boots out and about in the UK either Firefox. Apparently I am told that it does happen, but I suppose it depends on where you go.

Same here in Oz, I can only recall seeing thigh boots out and about on possibly two or three occassions. It's a bit hot in Oz for such attire.

Yes Inga, same here in Hong Kong. Too hot and humid most of the year for wearing boots.

Did anybody else see Kylie Minogue on the Brit awards? What did you think of her boots? They were nearly thigh high perhaps she might spark off a trend
I would certainly wear a black version of those in public

Ah, seems she does that a lot..

I saw her perform on Dutch tv a couple of months ago and there she wore black thigh highs. She pushed the first domino-stone in the world-record attemp in them.

Silver metallic, over the knee but not as far up as the thigh and looked to be about 4" Very nice, my boyfriend liked them very much

I tried thigh boots from this bootmaker at Ernest (http://www.ernest.fr), and I bought two pairs, one for me, and one for my GF. Very nice and very good quality.
They had a shop in Paris that closed last year, but hopefully there is Ernest.
