how many of you wore high heels to school?

Most of the hot girls in my High School dont wear heels at all. Does anybody know why that is?? They wear sneakers & flats. Once every 3 months a girl wears her high heels, sometimes even rarely. Please girls explain, and tell how many of you wear or wore high heels to school?

Yes - I was in School in the late 1970's - and from 5th Form onwards (15yrs) - most girls wore high heels - 3"- 4".

yeah...I even put a post on here that a friend of mine wanted me to do after telling him. I always had a thing for shoes, my closet is full, and always liked heels. I wore the 'daring' ones, I guess they are called occasionally in high school, after school, in college, and even now.

I wore high heels and high heel boots to school (although most times I was asked to swap the boots for shoes). However, I wore boots for my last week of my final year as I figured the teachers weren't going to go to the trouble of asking me again! :P

i wore heels to school from when i was 7 or 8. Chunky heel loafers though rather than stilettos until secondary school when I mostly wore chunky platform boots until stilettos came back into fashion. I was very much a goth at the time.

I got myfirst pair of high heels (my first real pair that my parents didn't force me into for church and that had an actual heel to them) in 9th grade. I still have them in my closet actually (i graduated high school in 2002 so you do the math). My parents called them my "hooker heels". They are strappy and lace up the front much like a corset, and have a chunky 4 inch heel on them. I LIVED in these heels and would wear them as often as i could get away with, often running down the halls in them with my heavy backpack on. Not that many girls in my school wore heels but i didnt care.

I did not get to wear heels in high school. But if i did i would be one of the daring ones wearing 5 or 6 inch heels to school. I wish i could of done that!!!!!

Yeah I wore heels quite a lot at school, although the teachers occasionally had crackdowns on uniform compliance

and heels were one of the first things they targeted. I have my suspicions that certain female teachers didn't like the pupils looking more glamourous than them lol...but yes, especially in sixth form, i had this kind of tan-brown coloured pair which went perfectly with our uniform...only about a 3" stiletto but I thought I was very sophisticated in them anyway

I'm 26, and was lucky to have been in the generation that every girl (ok most) wore heels, chunky, but none the less heels to school. I lived and walked to school in a pair of 5inch heels with .5 inch platform, and they were soo comfy. Sure other UK girls my age here must have worn heels to school. I seem to remember the dress code was no heels above .5 inches, but we didnt seem to get told off, maybe coz they were chunky. Its sad to see all the kids these days in flat ballet shoes, and it can't be good for their feet, lots of flat arches I imagine!
