Either inadvertently, or on purpose?

I know this is for the gals, but it reminded me of something from the distant past:

One night while in college back in 1977, in our small basement apartment, my wife and I had just gotten home after an exasperating study session. I went into the bedroom and kicked off my (fairly loose fitting) shoe (a ladies style loafer) rather fiercely and it went through that room's only basement window (up near the ceiling, about 1 x 2 feet)! You could have picked my jaw off the floor. We never did get it replaced.

I've stepped on my own toe with a stiletto heel and damaged the nail... but this isn't really qualifying, is it.

Compact Disc cases are fair game for any stiletto heel. I've sent many to the recycle bin by this accident.

Shame, too. They were the slim ones that I like.

I was trying on a Manolo Blahnik stiletto pump, in the midst of the bustle of a Saks sale, and managed to rip the holy hell out of one of my paper shopping bags, but that's really not important damage

I've sunk the end of my heel into more cracks between pavement than I can count. I've torn several pairs of nylons trying on or changeing shoes by catching them with the end of a heel. I've left indentations behind me before on flooring when I"m not careful and did put a hole in a carpet once as well. Cheep carpet!

I have steel tips on most of my heels - and have inadvertently put indentations into floor coverings and laminate floors - as well as aierating our neighbours garden at BBQ's.

I also find that putting ladders into tights and stockings is easily done if I am not careful when I cross my legs - and accidentally scrape my ankle with my stiletto tip.

Not on purpose. I'm not really that bothered, what can I do anyway?.
Get them repaired and start again?.
