Default How to convince my wife to wear high heels

I am really attracted to women that wear high heels. I find it sexy. I've been trying to get my wife to wear them more often. She usually just wears them for an hour and complains the whole time (not attractive). I wish she would start enjoying to wear them. Is there any advice or suggestions i can give her so that she gives them a chance. Maybe some advice on how they should fit, what excercises she can try or how to walk in them, or some pads to put in them. Or just a way that I can convey my desires to her. Thank you.

Try expensive shoes. I understand once you pay $200 for shoes, they are well-made and actually feel a lot better. On the other hand, someone who's not into fashion will not understand spending this much on shoes!

Okay, time for the women's perspective. And I'll try to keep it to a short story instead of a novel.

Find out why she doesn't like wearing them. You may need to buy a slightly larger size. You can also purchase what are called heel slip guards, cut one in half, round the edges, and you have an excellent cushion for the ball of the foot. This helps make shoes more bearable. Trust me, I do this. Each comes in a pack of two, and one piece does one pair, so a pack can outfit two pairs of shoes!

She should not start out so high. Find an intermediate height and go from there.

Offer to massage her feet to help relieve any of the discomfort.

Ask her where the shoes don't fit and see if you can find pairs that do.

Buy leather. Or buy sandals if it is an issue about toe room. Slingback strappy sandals with a four inch heel make a good friend.

That's all for now. Give us more details, and we can offer more advice.

In the end, of course, if she says no, then it has to be no.

I don't think you can "convince" her or, as I have seen in some threads "get" her to do so.

Look at this way, say you really don't like wearing a baseball cap but she thinks you look great in a baseball cap. How is she going to "convince" you to wear one? You're going to do it on the odd occasion bcause you love her, or just because you want to please her. Convincing doesn't come into it.

Spot on Firefox. It's all about choice, some people like HH others don't and I'm not going to hold that against them. So anon it's not worth pressuring.

I agree with Fox and Inga, and of course it is why I said "In the end, of course, if she says no, then it has to be no."

After all, if your wife is doing it for you and only for you, she'll never be happy about it.

Have a talk with her! See how she really feels. Be understanding and sympathetic. It is the best place to start.

I agree with most posts above. She'll wear them if she wants to. You cannot push that process too much, but you can give her reasons to want to. My wife wears her heels only and for no other reasons as to look good and occasionally to please me. You can give subtle comments which help her to see why it looks good. It took me 3 or 4 years to convince my wife that she really looked slim and attractive in those shoes/boots, and she never believed me until she lost a kilo and got promoted to management. Now she's wearing heels nearly every day to the office, because she thinks that it looks good under a business suit. She goes to dinners with clients and on business trips wearing nothing but heels, but unfortunately I rarely get to see her in it. When she comes home, the first thing to do is kick those heels off. If I ask her not to do so and give me some exposure as well, she says that she's tired after using them a whole day. I have very rarely managed to make her wear heels for no reason except for my pleasure.

Last saturday we went to eat something small in the city, and I asked her to wear one of her reasonably high heeled boots which she wears to work quite often. She said that she had nothing to wear with those! "What do you wear to the office then??" I asked. She replied that she didn't want to look like a business woman in the weekend, those are office clothes!! Aaarrghhh...

Anyway, after some begging and negotiating I got her to wear them, with a nice black skirt, just for me. Too bad the food wasn't too good ;(

So my advice is, that even the toughest partners eventually decide to wear something that you like just because they want to do you a favour, even if it goes against their wishes.

And I am aware that some of the readers on this board must think that I'm a nagger, as I'm always talking about my wife and her attitude towards her and my heels. But as that is my biggest problem what heels is concerned, I reckon it still is appropriate on this board.

And I have learnt something about women throughout the years Maybe someone benefits from it.

I have the same problem..She wears them once in awhile..If she had any idea how "good" she looks in them, or how other people look at her when she wears them, she might do it more often. I've talked until I'm blue, about his..and she doesn't seem to understand.

Expensive is not equal to comfortable
this weekend i was wearing 4,5 inch manolo
blahnik sandals. 250 $ shoes. Very fashionable but oh so uncomfortable.
I wore them for about 14 hours non stop at
a wedding party and my feet had some blisters. Sunday i could hardly walk anymore.
