Quite odd. Susan gets offended when men wearing heels is mentioned. Anonymous posters appear and start posting voraciously, but "Brad" and "Doug", if you're going to sign your name after an anonymous post, why not just register? In these threads, where Susan and the Anonymous dudes post, there is always meta-drama and passive-aggressive uncalled-for accusations of personal attacks. I never see this anywhere else on the board, where everyone gets along just swell. And something about the pride of permanently deformed feet has always struck me as somewhat suspicious. I speak for myself: I'm into shoes, not crippling injury! Now I'm sure the anonymous horde will roast me hard for my insensitive post, but am I the only one who notices any of this?

I've been a participant on these forums from the time Jenny's site was in it's infancy. My feelings and opinions toward men wearing high heels has not changed. I don't want anything to do with it. I don't care, enjoy yourself, but don't shove it in my face. That position has never been good enough, I'm living proof with the collection of abuse many around here are well aware of. (That is of course unless they decide to deny the obvious and ignore the conclusions.) In the history of these forums every women not in complience or of traditional values has been attacked and run off. That is another reality that can't be denied with any honesty.

Now Driver8, "I" find it interesting you don't like the idea or think it's impossible there are guys with the same traditional values I carry. Why not?? I would suppose they're just other guys with similar views and long to re-live old memories. They're the only people, with a few exceptions, who have an interest and know how and want to engage in a conversation with me. Why so much emphasise on registering. I registered and look what it got me. There most be some importance to it. Maybe to track how many times we come to this forum, track what we are doing, or where we come from! Why else is there all the pressure to register? I haven't seen it from the moderaters, it's the other registered users who keep insisting. Why?

I don't care if you believe I am who I say I am or not, it has absolutely no bearing on my life. But for the record, a couple friends I met at Jenny's over 3 years ago have pictures of me and my family, depicting everything just as I've described. You can choose to believe it or not, again I don't care. There was a bit of a to do along these same lines surrounding an abused girl I befriended, Janise. Something about whether she was a "troll" or a figment of someones imagination including a few other nasty insinuations. That "troll" is scheduled to testify before a hearing on violence on women.

The suggestion I have some twisted pride in disfigured feet is in and of itself sick. I speak of the condition of my feet only because it's necessary in my descriptions so an interested party can understand.

So much for continuing and enjoying the discussion on topic. It was worth a try.

Susan

We like people to register so we can say "See? We have X number of registered users, we are doing well!"

Of course, I can't speak for the rest of the moderators on this. I also like to scroll down the left of the page and see who posted. And I like knowing who posted something without having to go to the end of a long message to find out.

Susan, breathe. This is just discussion. The internet is a strange place, and you need to laugh at it more and not take it as serious. These people are just curious.

There are many people in the world, and we all have to get along. It's tough, because we're all different, and have different views. So let's just laugh about it!

An Internet discussion forum is not a private conversation among like-minded friends. It is a free flow discussion open to anybody on the Internet with any point of view who has an interest in the subject of the forum. Email is for private discussions.

Yeah, we've got to chill a bit more in these threads. Surely we can discuss ideas without accusations of personal attacks? There's a world of difference between disagreeing with a concept and abusing somebody. If we take offence at someone disagreeing with a concept we might as well give up and go to do something less stressfull.

Another obstacle for stiletto heels are the rubber mats with deep half inch diameter holes sometimes found at the entrance of public places in order to wipe off your feet. Those matts can be quite large and require walking over on your tip toes if you want to avoid having a heel getting caught.

We have a small rubber mat like that behind the emergency till at work. Maybe we'll call it the overflow Customer counter. It sounds fancier.
I actually like standing on it, letting my heels dip into the holes. But all I have to do is stand on it once a month or so, and not actually walk over it.

But I do understand what you mean!
