Thanks to everyone for the responses. The post got a little more mileage than I expected which is great. Susan, you had the right idea and as always you out did yourself with the graphic explanation. Can we keep this discussion going!

About a month ago I purchased a 96 Corvette, an adrenaline rush for and old man. Susan, I remember from your earlier writing a reference to such a car, I think you said your husband had one. Because of it's low sports car styling, shape of the doors, and low seats set deep in the interior, it's chore of comical portions for me to get in and out of it. Dressed as you've outlined in this thread it would have to be a struggle or impossible for you unless you were assisted. Is it? Do you ever have regrets being confined to your high heels or often encounter obstacles you can't overcome, something you really wish you could do? I don't want to pry so if you feel the question is too personal, please ignore it.

The best investment In wheels I did was my present Lexus GS300 that has an automatic steering wheel retraction and lift system that allows easy entry and exit whatever you wear. This is exeptionally handy when wearing platforms or a very tight skirt, clothing I cannot wear when I drive my 1966 Spitfire.

Damn Highluc, was this really necessary. We can kiss her good-bye again because of these actions and you and the moderators knew it. Firefox made sure of it when he changed the rules. This is the gal's section where we thought we could enjoy her experiences without the sneaky hits. Go wear what you want, we haven't bothered you, why can't you leave us alone.

To Brad: what the hell did I say wrong? I think I stayed well within the topic being discussed without offending anybody and although I tend to avoid posting in the gal section I do so whenever I feel I can contribute with actual experiences.
I also welcome Susan back and I think we all (the heel wearers versus the lurkers) can learn a lot of tips from her. Greetings to all the positive contributors on this board.

Brad, you are WAY too sensitive. All Highluc did was comment on a car. A CAR!

Geeze!

Just because he used himself as an example of how the adjustable steering is a benefit isn't such a bad thing.

You need to relax.

I see Brad already got some comments, this will be the last one.
Brad, leave the moderation of the board to the moderators. If you think a moderation is needed (which in this case certainly is not!) contact one of the mods and they will decide.

Now, back on topic...

Brad appears to think that Susan will be scared off at the notion that a man may wear a skirt. I think Susan has been around way too long to be scared off by such a harmless notion. My past experience with Susan on Jenny's old board has shown that if she's shown the respect we all deserve, and not personally attacked for her own opinions, she subscribes to the theory of "to each their own". Very fair indeed.

What am I supposed to say now! A bit saddened with disappointment when I found this last evening my only response was to click off the internet and try to collect some thoughts.

The attacks on Brad are without merit. Whether his response was for personal selfish reasons or some idea he was protecting me based on old history I frankly don't know, and neither does anyone else. Granted, he was a bit agressive but as Laurie wisely continues to point out, we're all human. Frustration and hast possibly took over good judgement, at least I'm hoping that's the answer.

I see things for what they are as I experience them. If a meteorologist says on the radio it's mostly cloudy and I'm looking at clear blue sunny skies, common sense says it's not mostly cloudy. I have no reason to believe what the meteorologist wants me to think. The same thing applies here. In truth there was a pleasant exchange taking place amoung past and potentional friends. Now it's destroyed with any attempt to continue strained at best.

Highluc, to the very best of my knowledge everytime our paths have crossed it's always been pleasant with a mutual respect. Without question our perspectives are worlds apart yet it's very likely we share many of the same values. I'm going to ask you to consider something from my perspective for a moment. Surely after all this time you are aware of the unpleasantness I experience relevant to men wearing high heels or womens clothing. Please, keep in mind I'm not finding fault only expressing a personal emotion. When I first saw your post interjected into the conversation, it struck me as "another" virual back hand across the face as a lesson to me. That which is unpleasant will be forced on me until I give in! It's a day later now, I'm still not pleased about it but open consideration has brought some better understanding to it. I'm being as honest as honest can be, please try to understand me. I have and will continue to try to understand you.

Moderators, in the over 900 views on this topic in a few days obviously there is some interest. Unless the viewers are being tracked, which Firefox insists doesn't happen, no one knows how many are members or just interested readers (lurkers). It stands to reason that most of the members have little or no interest in what I have to share. That's understandable, I accept it and it's OK. With that, of the 900 views it's likely most of them are lurkers. They just prefer to remain distant, look what happend to Brad.

Charlie, I thank you.

Doug, I'll try to answer your questions in another post. The wind is again gone from my sails.
