Default Girls I need your HELP!!!!

We have our auditors in at the minute at work who are here for a week to go through our accounts.

The problem is that one of the auditors is a very attractive young lady, brown curly hair, lovely figure and fishnet stockings and YES you guesed it, she's wearing the most wonderful 5" stilletos pumps, the likes of which I hav'nt seen before, which is saying something for me!! I don't want to pull her or anything I just want to talk to her about her shoes, obviously!!

How can I bring up her shoes into the converstion without appearing to be a LETCH or WEIRDO?

Please help, there she's here until Friday 13th Jan 2004......

Please help!

Hi Ruud,

I'm based in Liverpool.

If you'd like to send her over here to audit my books, I'll give you a second opinion on her outfit!

She sounds like an interesting girl.

Can you saywhich firm she is with?

Cheers Mike

Hi Rudd,

This is where we need Lucy or Anita C (come back soon ladies).

I'm not a girl but....

I have occasionally complemented ladies at work, at customers, and even strangers.

I find that a simple "nice shoes"/"lovely shoes" or even "you've got great taste in shoes" said in passing works well. (Said in a positive way with a smile.) Just say it, and don't dwell on it.

She may then talk a little to you about them, or a love of shoes in general, or she may just say "thank you" and it go no further.

If she does talk to you about shoes, don’t keep bring them up in conversation later. In my experience, once some ladies realise you have an appreciation of nice shoes, they may even make a point of showing you others when they wear them.

I think you would only come across as a Letch or Weirdo if you were to dwell on them, make to much of it, or keep complementing her. Or maybe if, once in conversation about her shoes, you were to say that you find high heels sexy – if you feel that need, better to say you think higher heels are more elegant.

Try "Hello. My name is _________, I work in ______. I couldn't help but notice your shoes! Where did you find them?"

More likely than not she'll tell you. I would!

When you get the needed information, thank her, and go back to work. If she wants to talk, emphasis upon TALK, she'll contact you. If not she's probably not interested.

Ciao!
Anita

Can I go back on sabatical now??

I would have said the same as the above 2 posts. you could add that your wife likes to wear heels and that she aould almost certainly like a pair like hers.

do they do them in a size UK11 ?
