Rep Power: 27 | Corsets I've just got my first corset and I love it! It's actually one my cousin made for herself, she'd worn it on a night out and when we got back I ended up trying it on after she'd got changed, and admitted that I liked the way it felt.
Anyway, last night she came round for the evening and she gave me the corset! She'd decided that it was too long in the body for her, and that she'd put too much boning into it. I couldn't wear it last night because she didn't have any lacing after having to cut me out of it when I tried it on because she'd laced it so tightly!
A quick detour on my way home from work, and I'm sitting here happily corsetted! It's made from the black cotton used for dress trousers, lined with two layers of heavy calico, and has seven metres(!) of boning. Being slightly taller, it's a nice length on me. I can see why she wants less boning in her next one, this thing is *rigid* once it's laced! It's not a problem for me being male, but she's quite curvy and it's too rigid to follow her waist properly.
It is actually surprisingly comfortable to wear now I've got used to taking shallower breaths and not being able to bend down, it's kind of like a cross between being hugged and how I imagine armour would feel. Wearing it under a t-shirt, my little beer-gut is gone and it's done wonders for my posture as I have no choice but to keep my back straight!
Anyone else like corsets?

Rep Power: 3 | Corsets are absolutely fabulous. If a girl really wants my attention, she should wear kneehigh boots and a corset. :) |

Rep Power: 4 | I've got a simple ribbon corset. Although I don't carry much excess fat, if I lace it too tightly I find that I get a bulge of guts below it. Really need a longer corset to get a good shape. Rather fancy one of these but in black: http://www.luxtenebrae.com/corsets_portia.html |

Rep Power: 27 | This one is very similar to mine: http://www.luxtenebrae.com/corsets_venus_overbust.html
It's long enough that I don't get much bulge underneath, and what there is is low enough down that it's under my trousers anyway. I'm thinking about asking her to sew purple ribbon over the boning to match the edging, think that'd look pretty good!

My Mood: Rep Power: 11 | For several months I've been fantasizing about having and wearing a corset (obviously made of leather :)). I like tight-fitting vests very much, so a corset would do the same (or even better?) thing. Who knows, maybe I'll get one someday?

Rep Power: 27 | Tubehead: If you like tight-fitting vests you'll love a corset! I'd say it was even better than the vest as you can go anywhere from comfortably snug to rib crackingly tight!
I'd been looking forward to getting one since I first tried it on, and am considering getting a couple more, possibly a leather one.

Rep Power: 22 | Corsets? Corsets are great! I started corseting myself back in May. There are lots of great benefits to corseting. In addition to waist reduction, they are a great appetite supresser. You feel satified with substatially less food when your corseted. But don't forget to keep that reduced waistline toned up as well or muscle loss as well as fat loss will result.
I started with a Latex Power Cincher and about a month ago I got my first REAL corset, a Vollars under bust with a fully cinched 34 inch waist. This is astounding considering I started with a 42 inch waist. I can wear the 34 fully closed comfortably and all day.
Corsets and heels go together like apple pie and ice cream.

Rep Power: 27 | That is a pretty good reduction there Shafted! My corset is like a more severe version of the Edwardian one in that it's not a waist cincher as such. Not tried wearing it with my six inch heels yet, that should be an experience! :o

My Mood: Rep Power: 4 | I have a faux corset, which constricts surprisingly well though it's a little bent around the waist [plastic boning] I don't particularly like wearing it though because I'm not used to tight clothes, and I lose a little bit of mobility [bending over to pick up books and things I drop at school, so it's not too practical there] I also like to eat, which is something I can't do with even a faux corset on.
They're eye candy, but I don't like wearing even a faux corset. |
