There are a number of reasons a retail seller will curtail offering merchandise. End of season. end of manufacturing run, changes in style and fashion, etc, etc, etc .
Over the years, I've discovered that most companies that sell their own "brand" of merchandise purchases their stock from unknown (to the customer) footwear manufacturers that, as a final step in the building process, will sew or "put" the store brand or style name on the shoes and ship them to the retail company.
There are quite a large number of these manufacturing sites scattered over the world, including Spain, Italy, and Brazil....China seems to lead the industry at the moment. From time to time, as stock of specific styles and models decreases to "reorder point," new contracts between the manufacturer and the retail comapny need to be "renegotiated." And, when the two sides fail to arrive at a satisfactory price for the new stock, the retailer will approach other footwear manufacturers to see if they can't purchase a similar model or style at a more agreeable price.
Long time heel wearers here may be familiar with the Leslie Shoe Co. (aka Sexy Shoes) and perhaps will remember one of their models, style 7115. A popular pump (court style) with 5½" stiletto heels that came in various colors. (with kinda of a scolluped side. ) This model was discontinued after several years and taken out of their inventory. After a period of time, the exact same style reappeared in their lineup with a style number 7114. It remains there today. Thus, the 7114 (

Perhaps Pleasure is undergoing similar replenishment procedure or even a major product realignment? I guess we'll have to wait a few months and see.
