Cinthy, I'm sure you are right about the appeal of shoes generally rather than heels in particular though I think 'fetish' is much too strong a word. Most of the women I know have a bit of a 'thing' about shoes generally. A lot of them admire my heels and are a little envious of how easily I walk in them but most, largely I think because of the fear of social disapproval, would never consider wearing anything so high themselves!

Jinxie, you should, you really should, have bought those shoes! It sounds to me as if you have the same sort of determination that I have, so you would be able to walk in them after a while, provided you work up to that height bit by bit. Of course I don't know what size you or Cinthy are, but with my U.K. size 8 I don't find 61/2" a particular problem. With a smaller size 6" might be the practical limit. And please don't think of high shoes as being only for the bedroom (though I guess ballet shoes are a different matter), they are for showing to the outside world, walking in proudly, and enjoying the attention. If as a consequence you get a bit of a turn-on that's just a pleasurable side-effect!
