Less is more. I have cut back a bit on make up over the years. I changed foundations instead of using a concealer stick that didn't quite match my skin tone, and then slathering extra foundation over it to try and hide it.
I look okay in pictures, and that's good enough for me.
besides, I'd like to be a writer, and if I end up on stage, I expect that the audience is there to listen to a reading, or stare at my shoes. I think a coffee house would be a nice setting for such a thing. More natural. And maybe free coffee? I love coffee when it is free... so long as it is good. |
