I don't care that much for "male" boots (cowboy, engineer, etc.) but I have been thinking of having them make a mule-type shoe for me based upon this design.

A few years ago I had a pair of Wesco engineer boots made with a few custom features, including no ankle straps. Although I can wear these boots in public (and often do, especially on cold damp days) they are not as satisfying as women's footwear.
