Evostick is OK provided the sole is rubber, if its plastic(which a lot are!) then Evostick will not last long.
For DIY bonding a no more nails type product is OK.

What ever you do don’t use super glue! as this dries rock hard & isn’t flexible enough for the constant bending of a shoe. It fails very quickly.
But this is another one ( I would say this! ) where a repairers your best option, I use 4 different glues on a daily basis each for different rubber/plastic/PVC types & combinations, this will probably cost you less than a tube of glue & you won’t get your hands messy!
