I have a paid of Pleaser Milan 25 leather slingbacks in black (but not patent) that have around 5" heel and not 4.5" as advertised. They are just a bit too high for me and whilst I love them, I must be realistic. Size is US12 so should do you fine at your quoted size. The heel is the modern circular type and is fitted with a standard metal heel tip
