Re: World Heel Meet 2008, London: Sat. Feb. 16th euchrid I can't tell you how much it means to me that you took the time to write about the meet at the length that you did. I found your stories quite interesting. Especially this part, "Shall we leave it?" says Bladerunner. "Nah, let's just go for it!" says I. This, BTW, was my first ever full-daylight, public place, street-heeling experience!" altf I agree with Nigel. Don't feel bad though. I chickened out on my first heel meet too. Now I'm three years deep into these World Heel Meets fastfreddy2 A special thanks goes to you too. I liked the part where you stated, "Boots on, and walked out of the car park. Out in to street in broad daylight. Not my first time in public, but my first time in daylight and in public."
and I liked this sentence as well, "To those who read these posts and wonder if they might attend a meet, think about it with my last comment in mind. Why not attend in normal 'street' attire, and see what it's like?"
We have many more testimonials to be written about the heel meet, but you can already see that in the short span of just one page, we have 2 NEW BREAKTHROUGHS.
These meets are a good thing, as long as they don't become the sole mechanism that drives one to street heel, they are a powerful tool for overcoming fear. |
