When people here at HHP, or complete strangers on the street compliment me on my attire, that makes me feel proud because I didn't arrive at my appearance by accident, it's the direct result of lots and lots of preparation.

Prior to each and every outing, without fail, it's not uncommon for me to spend upwards of an hour, sometimes longer trying on a variety of clothes in order to put together just the right outfit that will both compliment me and make me look my very best, my one...

I guess this is as good a time as any to make this proclamation. After waffling off and on for months, I've finally decided that from now on, I'll only be wearing skirts on my outings. No more jeans which I've donated to Goodwill, I'm all skirts, all the time, and I couldn't be happier at having made that decision. It was around this time a year ago that I first wore a skirt with heels, after discovering how enjoyable an experience it was, along with that fact I didn't attract mobs of villagers...

With summer now in the rear view mirror, fall is here, and with it, slowly increasingly cooler weather, weather that will eventually make wearing short skirts impractical. So, since I'm pretty much hooked on wearing skirts with my heels, it's time to break out and/or buy longer skirts to get me through the next several months as fall evolves into winter and the temperatures grow ever colder.

But I won't let that deter me from wearing skirts, especially since I've arrived at the opinion...

Yesterday (3/8/09), I was back in a skirt for an outing, since it was Sunday, I went with a purely casual look, denim skirt, polo shirt, no heels and---GASP!---bare legs, a first for me.
